Transitions

Transitions can be tough. A transition is when you're in between the past and the present.  When your in between there can be moments of doubt, insecurity and grief.
You can be easy to get distracted waiting for a new thing to come to fruition.
It's said that when one door closes another opens. The hallway between can get confusing and full of doubt.
You think you know where you're going, and you know you don't want to go back to where you came. Sometimes you can't. You've got to move forward.
The  little voice inside your head is screaming. Why? Because you are no longer in your comfort zone, and change can be scary.
There can also be a kind of grieving as you shed the old.  Dealing with grief can make the transition more of a challenge.  In a sense  you are mourning  your old life, abs you have no idea what will happen next.
It's part of life, and we all face it at some time or another-change.
To paraphrase an old quote if you're not moving towards something, you are sliding backwards. So the trick is to get comfortable with discomfort. Yes, easier said then done. This is when you have to tell yourself small steps are ok.
In life we are either moving toward pleasure or away from pain. Once you understand your motivation, it's easier to move.
Why did you want to to change? One scenario is because staying where you are has become unbearable. So in the scenario, you want to move away from what ever is unbearable, right?
And now we are in that hallway of the transition. The trick is not to be afraid, but to embrace the joy and excitement of moving toward something new.
OK, how? Keep focused on your "prize". Do one small thing each day that will move you toward that goal. Maybe keep a journal of your progress or make a dream board if you are a more visual person. The point is to keep it in front of you.
If you are still afraid, talk to someone. Share your dream, wish, goal. Tell them how you want to make your life better.
Not everyone will understand, but it is not about them. This is yours.

Perseverance

I am part of a magical world filled with exciting opportunities and ideas. I am a force of nature with the ability to control my circumstances. The world around me is my playground, and I find joy in every experience.

My life is part of an everlasting fabric that connects the world together. I am an eternal being with infinite possibilities surrounding me.

I am proud to be part of nature. My world is filled with oceans of love and mountains of courage. I am part of a beautiful world that welcomes me. I believe in the creative power of nature to transform my life.

I am focused on finding the best parts of nature and enjoying them. I know the people around me are also magical forces of nature. My life is enriched by their experiences.

Understanding and appreciating nature makes me happy.

I have many strengths and talents inspired by nature. Nature helps me understand I am part of an infinite world with no end.

Today, I recognize that I am a powerful force of nature. My life is filled with amazing opportunities made possible by nature. I know that I am an everlasting force and part of a miraculous world. I am a strong being with many abilities and skills. Nature gives me strength and energy, so I can enjoy the world around me.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. How can I connect with nature on a daily basis to grow as an individual?
2. Am I spending too much time indoors and avoiding nature?
3. How can I help my friends and family understand they are also forces of nature?
